The Lodge at Bristlecone Pines
By Thomas Bruce
Six eighty something individuals left by their families in an elderly care home left to die with total strangers. Thrown together by a simple dining room table rotaion, they came together and called themselves Table 21. They may have been left there to die but they soon had other plans. The retired detective who wasn't finished following clues, the retired nurse who wasn't done caring, the executive chef who wasn't done creating, the retired deli owner who wanted to teach his craft, the retired five & dime shop owner who missed the art of the sale, and the author who still had stories to write. Follow Table 21's everyday life as the fight to keep their new home, show that they have life perspective and can still be productive just like the Bristlecone pine tree.
